Pakistan won the opening match held at Multan, but India made a comeback by winning the second match with a small margin. However, Pakistan took a huge lead by winning the next two matches. The last match was held at Railways Stadium in Lahore on Saturday. The organizers were considering postponing the match until wet and slippery ground conditions subside, but the enthusiasm of more than 20,000 spectators forced them to conduct the match. Pakistan defeated India 45-35 and won the series by 4-1.
